Meet the Physicians


Crystine Lee, MD

Specialty: General Surgery, Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery

Schooled in London and Hong Kong, Dr. Lee graduated from Harvard with Honors in 1992 and from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1996. She completed her surgical residency in University of California – San Francisco in 2003, a Laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgery Fellowship in 2004, and also has a MBA from the Haas School of Business, at the University of California, Berkeley. After her training, she served in the United States Air Force and deployed overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. She then moved to Marin and joined Prima in September 2008 with an office at Sonoma Valley Hospital. Dr. Yee also practices at Marin General Hospital and Novato Community Hospital.

Dr. Lee describes her professional philosophy as following the rule instilled in her in the Air force, “Integrity, service before self, and excellence in all we do.” She believes excellence should be delivered with both compassion and respect. “While professionalism and excellent surgical outcomes are part of what I strive for, reassuring patients during a stressful time is also very important to me.” She enjoys skiing, watersports, taekwondo, and a life-long struggle with golf.


 


Scott Perryman, MD

Specialty: General Surgery, Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery

Dr. Perryman is a board certified General Surgeon. He graduated from McMaster University in 1997 with an honors bachelor degree in biochemistry and from Howard University College of Medicine in 2002. He completed his surgical residency at Stanford University in 2009, a postdoctoral stem cell research fellowship in 2006, and an advanced minimally invasive laparoscopic and bariatric surgery fellowship at Stanford in 2010. Dr. Perryman graduated medical school a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society. He is also a member of multiple surgical societies including the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons (ASMBS) and the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and has presented his research at the ACS Clinical Congress. He joined Prima in September of 2010 and is located at Sonoma Valley Hospital.

Dr. Perryman summarizes his practice philosophy with the following four words: “Compassion, Service, Excellence and Leadership”. He firmly believes in a lasting commitment to scholarship and that his patients’ needs should always come first. On a personal note, he enjoys playing piano, tennis and golf.
