Dr Barbara Finzen is a Board-Certified physician in Internal Medicine. She sees a spectrum of patients, from late adolescence through geriatrics. Her special interests include preventive medicine and geriatric medicine.
She attended Northwestern University on a National Merit Scholarship, and after graduating Phi Beta Kappa in an Honors’ three year degree program, she returned to her home city of Milwaukee to attend the Medical College of Wisconsin. She came to California in 1980 to do her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at St Mary’s Hospital and Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr Finzen was elected to Fellowship in the American College of Physicians, and inducted into fellowship in a convocation ceremony at the national meeting of the College in San Francisco, CA in April 2013.
She has resided in Marin County since 1984. She has three grown children and enjoys hiking, tennis, and traveling with her husband.
Dr. Etemad is a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona, California. She holds an undergraduate degree is in Biology from Union College in Schenectady, New York.
After medical school, she did a rotating internship at San Bernardino County Medical Center. She moved to Michigan to complete her family medicine residency at Wayne State University in Detroit and since her return to California has been practicing family medicine in Sonoma and Marin counties.
She learned to speak Spanish as a high school exchange student to Panama. Areas of particular interest to her are women and children’s health, sports medicine, and adolescent medicine. She is skilled in osteopathic manual medicine.
Tomas Kubrican, MD earned his medical degree at Comenius University, Martin, Slovak Republic. After relocating to the United States, Dr. Kubrican earned a Master of Science degree from Marquette University.
He accepted a position with Aurora Healthcare in Milwaukee, where he practiced family medicine and obstetrics. Dr. Kubrican was also an attending physician for family medicine residents and has been active in mentoring medical students.
Dr. Kubrican’s scope of practice includes the management of common, acute and chronic conditions in patients of all ages. He performs multiple small procedures in-office. Dr Kubrican is dedicated to providing a high level of care in Marin County, while working closely with patients to achieve their health goals.
Loree Skidmore is a Board Certified family nurse practitioner with 28 years of experience primarily in family practice but including student, women’s and occupational health, as well as inpatient psychology. She earned her Master’s Degree at UCSF, and has special interests in women’s health, teens and mental health. When she isn’t working in the clinic, Loree teaches at Sonoma State’s Family Nurse Practitioner Program and supervises students at a Santa Rosa homeless clinic.
Loree has been with her husband for 25 years. She lives in Novato and has a 21 year old daughter who will graduate from college in New York in Spring 2017. In her free time she hikes, bikes, gardens, does yoga and loves to travel.
